For god sakes stop it with the athletic QBs who can't make a read past the first guy and just recruit a damn immobile guy who can read a defense! ala Mett.

Yeah we wouldn't have wanted Russell Wilson, rg3, luck, rp, Flynn. James Winston, Manziel. The list goes on. All these guys could run.

Good thing we don't line up in the power I often. eriously you guys need to take a course, then actually watch the games. Until then, just don't post.

I think we are going to surprise some with how we run the ball on Saturday. It sounds like Ole Miss plays five DB's and lets their front 6-7 handle the run. We many not have the success we did against Kentucky, but I think we will still get 4 yards a carry. While it is well known that we like throwing to Dural deep, nobody has really stopped it much so far. The stats are not there because we only throw the ball 15 times a game, but the big play has been there pretty much each game. Ole Miss still has to worry about a jump ball to Dupre too.

Ole Miss recruited Trey VERY hard, they are aware of him and he is not going to be running around all by himself in the secondary. I think the key to our offensive success is playing to our strengths, spreading the ball around when we do pass, as well as mixing in some new wrinkles not yet seen.

In SEC play, the Tigers' RB's are averaging 5.1 ypc. Against MSU and AU they averaged nearly 4 ypc. Most of that against 8 and 9 man fronts. They can and will run the ball effectively against OM. The key is the defense keeping the game close so that the OL and backs can gain a bit of leverage as the game goes on. It's a myth that anyone has shut down the Tiger's on the ground. They abandoned the run early against MSU and AU do to trailing big early for various reasons.

AJ = JJ. No difference at all.

I have to agree with this statement...and one of my best days as a Tiger fan was 1/9, only reason being was that JJ would never wear a LSU jersey on the field again!!! Hopefully, AJ can shed that label, but it ain't looking too good...
