I challenge you to just watch Quinn for a few snaps during the Ole Miss game....I bet you will come away with a different opinion. I actually had a Kentucky fan next to me talking to his friends and multiple times they were discussing this kid...if your gaining the attention of the opposite team fans without the ball in your hand says alot

The same thing happened during the Mississippi State game.

Ole Miss recruited Trey heavily, so they will be aware of him. I think we will simply have to mix it up well, have some new wrinkles, and spread the ball around to everybody!

They aren't asking him to scan the field the way Mett did.

I guess AJ gets a pass this season, but if he still can't read a defense by the time fall camp starts, then he has no business being our starting QB. I haven't seen anything from him that convinces me that he has improved much if at all. He is a JJ clone but without the mobility.

The...uh... Trey Quinn is improving. He..uh...certainly feel like he will have the opportunity to make some quality plays in the backend of the season. We look forward to it...we look forward to victory.

Quinn has dropped more balls than any other receiver and he hasn't shown much elusiveness after the catch. The Weller, Edelman comparisons are a bit much.

AJ misses the middle of the field all of the time. Hell, Florida didn't even cover the slot WR on several plays, just left him open.

I've been saying all along that Jennings is incapable of getting past his first read. He is a very athletic quarterback, and his instinct is to run, but it is being beaten into his head to read through his progressions. So, he is incapable of doing it, but continues to try, and takes the sack. I believe this is why we run the ball as much as we do.

Why in the hell do we keep recruiting Athletic QBs? So we can teach them to take snaps from uner the center out of a power I? For god sakes stop it with the athletic QBs who can't make a read past the first guy and just recruit a damn immobile guy who can read a defense! ala Mett.

Quinn is very talented and Jennings is lacking in progressive reads. However, we've seen young Quinn drop a few very catchable balls. Having seen his great hands displayed in High School I've been shocked to see the drops. He literally never dropped a ball his last two years at BHS. Cam really should make him the number one option a few times a game, at least until the QB's become adept at their reads.

Do you think he's a little more nervous about getting lit up, the QB's now throwing with more velocity, or what? Bad luck?

It has to be his primary read to get the ball from Jennings. Maybe swap Quinn and Dural and Jennings would at least throw to him. Even if he is doubled!
