LSU's most realistic scenario to win the SEC West

At first it seems crazy to even think about, and I don't necessarily think this will happen, but LSU's road to Atlanta may not be as unbelievable as it would first seem, given how wide open the western division is right now and the way the remaining schedule shakes out:
LSU - wins out at home against Alabama and at Arkansas and at Texas A&M
Miss. St. - loses at Alabama and at Ole Miss
Auburn - loses at Georgia and at Alabama
Ole Miss - loses at home against Auburn
Alabama - loses at LSU
This would set up a four-way tie for first between LSU, Mississippi St., Ole Miss, and Alabama, all at 6-2. The first tiebreaker in a tie of three or more teams is each team's record against the other tied teams - MSU and Alabama would each be eliminated, as they would both be 1-2 while LSU and Ole Miss would be 2-1. After that, it would go back to the head-to-head results, sending LSU to Atlanta and Ole Miss off to print another SEC West Co-Champion banner.
It would definitely take some big breaks going our way and this team continuing to improve on both sides of the ball, but it's not really any crazier than what had to happen in 2007 for a 2-loss LSU team to win the national title.

Doubtful, but it could get exciting if we play next to perfect 4 games in a row!

I'm just going to throw out this post I made on Oct. 8th, when people were predicting a 4-8 finish:
I was downvoted.

Ain't that the truth. After our inevitable 12-10 victory against UF (Driskel with a last minute safety to seal the Tiger victory), I fully expect to see Monday morning threads breathlessly calculating how, with the right tiebreakers, we might still be in the SEC West race.
I was downvoted.

Im in.
Doubt it happens but it is slightly convenient. If I weren't on my phone, I'd give you an up vote.

How the hell did we get into the SEC Championship in 01 with 3 loses?

Why wouldn't MS state win the tiebreaker in the head to head against us? Seems to be State has to lose 3 games for your scenario to work out.

Because the first tiebreaker when there are three or more tied teams is the records between those teams. In this scenario, LSU would be 2-1 (beat Bama and Ole Miss, lost to MSU), Ole Miss would be 2-1 (beat Bama and MSU, lost to LSU), MSU would be 1-2 (beat LSU, lost to Bama and Ole Miss), and Bama would be 1-2 (beat MSU, lost to LSU and Ole Miss). After you get down to two teams, then it would go to head-to-head.

Two of the '01 losses were against E-div teams (UTenn & UF) which simplified things more than this yr. I don't recall who all Auburn lost to that yr.
