None on the BB stuff lately. It has gone to shite.

That figure is not $100 at the store either. He just pulled that number out of his arse.

I take my 2 year old to Toys R Us once a month and every time there is one solitary great pirate neckbeard standing by himself in the action figure aisle looking over the stock.

It's fricking nuts what they pay for this shite. I only discovered there was a market for it through my main business. I found a bunch of collectables someone left behind in a bank repo and decided to sell them on eBay. I was floored at what people paid for that crap so I found a wholesale source to buy it for resell.

Some dude just paid $169 for a 12" Godzilla I had on eBay this morning.

I am not one to judge peoples hobbies but this one doesn't make much sense to me.

I have nothing against toy collecting either and I appreciate the crafsmanship of some high end modeling. I wish I would've held to all my old Star Wars Gi Joe etc.. instead of selling it years ago. Its just weird to see a grown arse man clutching a new transformer like its his precioussss

God forbid that a mother is actually concerned.

i guess rotting zombie action figures with a bloody sword in one hand and a severed head in the other are still ok.

Right. Zombies not real. Meth real (and can turn you into a rotting zombie).

funny the reactions from the day crew vs the night crew. last night this was a totally different thread.

Not sure if the news of this drove it, but I sell collectibles on eBay on the side, and I have had a dozen of those Walt toys sitting on the shelf for 6 months, but all of a sudden I had a run on them and sold out.

How many hustles do you have? Get that $!!!

I don't understand why there are action figures for a show kids really shouldn't be watching in the first place.

Ever see the movie Slap Shot? The Hanson brothers are buying up that stock, and they'll kick your arse if you question it.

are all y'all really too cool to step into a toysrus??

they sell all kind of 'adult' action figures from R-rated movies..there's an entire aisle with that stuff. this is nothing new.
quote:

Oh, bullshite. Show me a kid 15 or older that shops at Toys R Us

quote:

That is pretty fricked up to be selling at Toys R Us. Like, really really fricked up.

quote:

Cue the adults that still buy toys.

quote:

I guess a better question is what parent lets their kids watch breaking bad and then buys the toys complete with meth?

FYI thats a toysrus image link

i guess there's a bunch of insecure 'just out of high school too cool to be in a toy store' OT posters on here

give it a few years..have a couple of kids..and you'll be in this store way more than you think.

2 pages and nobody's called IAmBatman on this thread yet.

As I said in yesterday's thread, I remember selling or donating all of my old 80's hand-me-down Ninja Turtles when I was a teen and became too cool for all that shite. And nowadays I would really love to have kept them. That, and I had the full line of Jurassic Park and Terminator 2 toys as well.

But it's OK to have super heros or supervillians that have killed hundreds to thousands of people over the years.

I let my 6 year old play with them. It teaches him about running a business and organizational skills. He also learned to do a pretty decent cook. The extra income is nice. It should pay for a really nice Disney trip this year.
