Creating the Ultimate Death Valley Environment This Weekend

Below I will layout the ultimate formula for making Death Valley the place where Ole Miss' dreams truly go to die this Saturday Night! Here is my 10 step plan to creating the ultimate Tiger Stadium experience this weekend:
1. Don't Party Too Hard Friday Night - Yes, it is exciting to have a rival come in that is #3 team in the country. Have fun Friday night, but don't push it too hard. Remember Saturday Night is the real fun. They call it a Louisiana Saturday Night for a reason.
2. Rock Out at Gameday - Let's show the rest of the country what made LSU a Gameday destination years ago. Show up, have fun, make some noise, start some LSU chants, Tigerbait, Hot Boudin and the rest. Cheer or Tiger Bait Corso depending on who he chooses.
3. Get to campus early - Last week I was really surprised with how few people were at campus before around 4pm. Let's show Ole Miss fans that not only can we defeat them on the field, we can defeat them at tailgating. The Grove should be lame compared to campus on Saturday.
4. Have Mike In the Stadium Before the Game - Obviously, they are not going to force him into his travel cage, but c'mon Mike the weather will be nice and this is a huge game. We need you to intimidate Freeze, Wallace, the Nkemdiches, Treadwell and the Ole Miss fans. We are counting on you, Mike.
5. Get into the Stadium before the band takes the field - Let's have the stadium looking packed and intimidating when the band takes the field for the 4 greatest notes in college football. Also, don't speed up the clapping pace too early. Watch the band and keep up with the rhythm of the drums.
6. Unleash the Band - The greatest marhcing band in the country needs to be unleashed on Saturday. This will require some cooperation from the students. Hey students, cussing = removal of certain songs = addition of piped in music. Don't cuss and we can hear neck, oh we oh, all of the lights, etc...Bring back Cape Fear on third downs instead of piped in music.
7. Make Noise on every defensive down not just 3rd or 4th - Don't wait for 3rd down. Make Bo Wallace call timeouts and the Rebels false start before then.
8. Limit the piped in music to before the game, before kickoff, and timeouts - ***** I'm from Louisiana is really cool before kickoffs. So are Callin Baton Rouge and Louisiana Saturday Night before the games. Gangham Style doesn't get the crowd jacked up and Seven Nation Army needs to stay in the Big 10.
9. Don't speed up LSU chants too soon - Let's have some long drawn out LSU chants to silence the Hotty Toddy. Also an entire stadium yelling Tiger Bait when they do it would be awesome.
10. Stay the entire game - Earlier in the season I lined out acceptable reasons for leaving early which can be found here: Leaving Games Early Rules According to these rules, it was acceptable to leave last game with 6 minutes left. Don't worry about traffic, our style of offense, etc...Miles and the players want us to stay. This is the #3 team in the country we are playing.
GEAUX TO HELL OLE MISS GEAUX TO HELL!!!!!!

Love 'em all, but especially 4, 6, 7 and 10.
I plan to bring a bag of cough drops, my vocal chords will need them !!!!!!!!
Imagine being a wide-eyed recruit standing on the field for this one! This game should really help recruiting as well......

11. Make noise during OM's time outs.
I've always wanted to see us do this. Imagine the other team calling a timeout... they huddle together on the sideline trying to discuss the situation and their next play. Meanwhile, the fans are creating ear piercing noise, not even allowing those motherfrickers hear themselves think, much less talk to each other.

Agree with all, but
The Grove is lame compared to LSU tailgating. Chicken nuggets and flower arrangements.... WTF?

quote:Not at LSU any longer. Not even close to being the best band in the SEC. Talk about decline. TBBFTL has been on a steady regression for the last three years under the band version of Curley Hallman/Larry Porter. It's plainly visible to everybody except all the blind Sunshine Pumpers..........
