I had issues with a previous dishwasher and called Jefferson Appliance to come fix it. They charged me a $70 "consultation fee" to come look at the problem, but that fee was going to be deducted from the cost of the part. Of course once they had my money they stopped returning my phone calls and never came to repair the part. I ended up having to buy a new dishwasher altogether and now it is having issues. I'm not sure what to do, but I am skeptical of every appliance company now. Does anyone know a reputable repair service, or if you have had similar issues what did you do to finally get your shite fixed?

Also, if you know where Leo from Jefferson Appliance lives, that would be helpful too

TIA

Napoleon, but only if you have a driveway for him to park in. He is unable to park on the street.

lol.
I park in the street like every time. Only time I ever pull in a customer driveway is if they live on a street where one does not park on the street.

anyway OP::

I had a similar job yesterday, involving same company. They may of had some kind of personal or health problem. I hate to say though, some untrained techs "get in over their head" and flip out and drop jobs but don't at least make it right with a refund. Dishwahsers are not that hard. Is it a Bosch? A lot of people don't know Bosch and Fisher/Paykel.
Got me a nice new customer near Newman.
You are going to pay a service/consultation/trip fee from any company. Saves us from telling you whats wrong, giving a "free estimate" and then you doing the work yourself. That happens.

I charge less than that, but there are fees for taking out the unit and all. Did he tell you what was wrong? I could throw you a complete estimate.
We also collect after completion.

Don't want to link company info, but you can reach me at NapoleonTd@gmail

just saw that the unit is not the same one that was repaired. I missed that.
If it's something simple I wouldn't mind just trying to talk you through it here.

Is it not draining right? That's the most common problem and many times there are easy fixes.

Spots on dishes. That's one of our highest call rate issues, and yet, most of the time that is the users fault and not the dishwasher's. We have hard water and certain detergents must be used. Everyone should also run a cup of just white vinegar in their dishwahser once a month or so to keep the mineral deposits from forming in the sump.
