This guy is akin to Akin. Well the Dems running away from this buffoon will see a new commercial very soon. What a tool.

Make no mistake: Democrats running from President Barack Obama aren’t actually all that distant from him.

That’s the message that Obama himself delivered Monday, speaking on Rev. Al Sharpton’s radio show — a line that Republicans immediately identified as the latest gaffe they’d try to drum controversy out of, right up there with Obama’s line two weeks ago that his policies are on the ballot in November.

“The bottom line is, though, these are all folks who vote with me,” Obama said. “They have supported my agenda in Congress.”

Obama said he wasn’t concerned with candidates running in red states not wanting him to come to town.

“This isn’t about my feelings being hurt. These are folks who are strong allies and supporters of me,” Obama said.

He should have started that sentence with "Let me be clear" just so those who are barely paying attention would see that for the lie it is.

So he admits that his policies are pure shite and Americans disapprove... So in return, his "allies" have to run away from his policies and lie about supporting him in order to be reelected

I think the fact that he would appear on Al Sharpton's radio show deserves a mention. Not that it's the least bit surprising or that Obama and other members of his administration haven't been cozy with Sharpton for years, but it's just one more indication of the hypocrisy of Barack Obama.

In another thread, one poster tried to rationalize how bad racism still is in America by using Obama and Holder as examples of "credible" black men who always talk about how much discrimination they have faced. But these same "credible" men willingly and enthusiastically associate with the likes of Al Sharpton, a man who never apologized for race-baiting the Tawana Brawley situation, even AFTER Tawana Brawley admitted the whole matter was a hoax. Sharrpton also race-baited the Duke lacrosse incident until that case fell apart, although he later lied about having any involvement.

That's some really good company you're keeping there, Mr. Obama.

But regardless, I'm glad that Obama is CORRECTLY pointing out that these Dem politicians have been in bed with him, even though they are treating Obama like a leper during election season.

obama knows if the dems are to have any chance in November he has to appeal to blacks to get out and vote. Its racism at its very core but who really counts leftist racism for what it is?

Exactly

It's always just about him. He has to put himself squarely in the center of everything. Even when calling attention to his relationship with the Democratic congress will be their demise.
They are trying to save their political lives, but he only wants to reassure himself personally.

Not racist, but the Dem Congress got in bed with the tar baby, and now they can't get him off. (SWID)

You have absolutely no idea what Sharpton talks about on his show.

I know the man's history, ATL. He has done nothing but race-bait his entire career.

But of course, being the guilty white liberal that you are, you aren't going to hold Sharpton responsible for his deplorable behavior regarding the Tawana Brawley fiasco. You are aware that he never apologized for that?

I swear, I think a black person could take a dump on you, and all you would say is, Hey, thanks for the fertilizer!"

You're very weird.

Helping the dems lose this cycle might be the single greatest thing he's done for this country.

Thabks, Obama. No, really this time.

My personal favorite line from that was "I tell them, just do whatever you have to do to win."
