If so how do you think that would play out with the teams motivation factor? If not delete thread.

It is.

I think they are motivated, but not by homecoming.

Sort of ironic that honecoming is meant more for the lesser opponents on the schedule.

Not only that but homecoming generally comes after a road game. Would have made much more sense last week.

It is homecoming. I don't think it changes their motivation all that much. Homecoming is for us old folks. That being said, I think they'll be pretty damn motivated for a top 5 team at night in Tiger Stadium

I don't think football players give homecoming a second thought...I didn't when I was a student and I had a whole lot more free time than a football player does...

How is homecoming going to work with Gameday? Do they still do the parade?

Yes Homecoming means nothing, if the Tigers cannot get fired up for the 3rd ranked team in the nation, then they have a problem.
