There are not cheap tickets from the Baton Rouge airport. English, it are impotent.

Cheaper to fly from MSY. RJ seats are sold at a premium in/out of regional airports.

difference is negligible, once you factor in gas, parking, and most of all, time. Unless you want to take a direct flight that you book early on SW or Spirit, but I don't really care for either of those airlines
I search one-ways on kayak and fly out of BTR more than MSY, because it costs me similar or less once you add in additional costs. The key is dont book too early or wait too late, airlines prey on procrastinators and planners.

As with anything. It depends. My flight tomorrow was $300 cheaper from BTR than msy and its on mainline aircraft, not a RJ.

flying out of Baton Rouge was about $300 cheaper than flying out of Lafayette for my Vegas trip last year
