Dude a 4 is 4 years old now, iOS 8 ain't making it a POS 
BTW, I wouldn't have tried going to a carrier store. I've heard much more success going straight to Apple which is what I did. Had to get there early in the morning but to get a reservation, but I just had to go back later the same day and pick it up since I had to get back to work.

Ok at least some are beginning to go out. I knew I should have gone through apple. Hopefully this means ATT will be getting some shipments in soon. I ordered on 9/19 and not one word since then.

Size
Color
Date Purchased
For example, the Gold (less popular color) 128GB (less popular size) may have already shipped for you.
The 64GB (most popular size) Space Gray (most popular color) could be a long wait.
I did see where Apple has adjusted their supply chain ratio to accommodate the 6+ orders... better than no news I guess.

I ordered a 128g 6+ on preorder day and was given a 10-31 earliest ship day. This past Saturday the 25th I got a text that it had shipped should have it today. Hopefully you will get yours earlier too.

Ordered on pre-order day but later in the morning. 128gb grey/at&t. Got an email saying it shipped. Tracking says it will be at my house tomorrow. Original delivery date said 11/9-11/27.

I just saw on Apple.com forum that a few people who ordered from AT&T with a 11/9-11/27 ship date have gotten shipping notifications today.

I had an 11/26-12/8 estimated ship date. My status changed from that date to "pending confirmation" this morning.

Mine changed to "Pending Confirmation" on Friday night, but changed back to "Preparing to Ship - Expected Delivery Nov 9 - 17th" (I ordered on September 26th) on Saturday morning. Not sure what that Pending Confirmation means, but mine hasn't shipped to my knowledge.
I also heard on the Apple support boards that if you ordered through ATT, and your bill isnt current, it won't ship till your bill is paid, even if its behind 1-2 days. I'm not saying anyone is behind on their bills, but I just figured I would share. Had a friend who had their bill due the 23rd, didnt pay till 25th, phone shipped that evening.
