The Atlanta interception clearly cost us 3 points (at least)

How was it more than 3 points? It was 3rd down.

The game was in the 3rd quarter, and we had the lead by 3.

We then went out and scored 14 4th quarter points and you blame that pick for the loss?

We lost the Browns game by 2 points

The list of people to blame for that pick is long, but Brees is near the bottom. Top blame goes to payton for emptying the backfield after a 12 yard run.

We had the lead in that game early in the 4th too. Only got the ball once after the 12 minute mark, drove down to the 31, and PT missed a block.

That missed block is worth a similar amount to that int, if not more

Everyone is allowed to critique Brees as we are all arm chair QBs/coaches. Those critiques can come has humble opinion or emotional brain farts. There is a situation in every loss that you could point to one play changing the game but footbsll still remains a team sport.
I'm not selling out on Brees. There are multiple problems contributing to his decisions. Primarily the line but I also have noticed a lack in the quick release passes. He's doing more 5 and 7 step drops and still not finding any one open.
The deep dropbacks are uncharacteristic of this offense and may be due to a lack of confidence in the OLine by the coaches and the WRs to get open.

Know what that means by some late passes, it means no separation from our WRs

Funny that people said that, "He's taking too long to release the ball", but his release is faster than the last few seasons.

Look @ PFF for game #6, last page.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't realize all of you were such football geniuses. One has to wonder why you aren't coaching. I'm not an expert. I watch the games and try to figure out what is occurring with thd team and what can correct it.

So please get off your high horse because by no means are you better than someone because you can type a reply or start a thread on a message board. The flippant use of insults and condescension is easy for someone hiding behind the Internet.

Would you like me to link their opinion?

Hahaha!

That's good stuff.

Yes I want to know why you aren't a coach but not "opinions" because you don't seem to like others opinions if they don't align with your own.

No not a tough guy. You seem like you're trying to be the tough guy.

Terrible career choice. Did learn a thing or two living with 2 LSU football players from 2007-2011

A lot of people in my family are coaches, but I like money. I chose IT and data analytics

I love a good debate. Bonethug, hoodoo, and htran disagree with me all the time. They have substance and facts to back their claim up.

Claiming that Drew is living off 2009 is completely ridiculous and you've offered nothing to support it. I've backed up why I disagree.

Fair enough.

I'm not trying to claim he's living off 2009. He's still a top level QB and when the time comes to replace him I hope the saints and fans are prepared for the possibility of some lean years.
I'm not a spoiled bandwagon fan like a lot of saints and tiger fans are.

See, that's a completely reasonable viewpoint. Claiming Brees mediocre since 09 isn't

I just don't like how he gets completely trashed on here after every game, but I can't stay away

I don't like the bashing either. I'm not a cowboy fan but I thought Romo always got s bad rap and now everyone is singing his praises.
Still a lot of season left and its looking like 8-8 or even 7-9 could win the division.

Not being a top 5 QB of all time doesn't necessarily mean that you're not a top 20 player of all time.

In fact, I'd say that Brees is anywhere between 6th and 10th best QB of all time and IS a top 20 player of all time.
