Yep, Florida isn't going to fire Muschamp until they are certain that one of their top targets will 100% be coming to replace him.

I have no reason to believe that UF of Michigan would make any sort of "big" hire. Just last year Texas and USC, with arguably two better jobs, basically had to settle for two underwhelming hires.
The money is good all across the country now, and I just don't think very many good big 5 coaches are willing to change jobs. I doubt Mullen would leave MSU to go to UF; and Michigan (and the Big 10) is becoming less and less attractive each year.
