Pretty sure Meachem's services are no longer needed

Bad things happen when balls go his way

WHERE THE FRICK IS JOE MORGAN???????????????????
Posted on 10/19/14 at 8:40 pm to Chad504boy
Yeah Meachem is fricking horrible. His level of play reminds me of when Mike McKenzie came back in 2009. Stills is so much better and the Joe Morgan that we've seen in the past is also so much better.

It's funny because I'm stealing money.

Ughh, Toon pisses me the frick off too. Dude takes up a roster spot and we've done absolutely nothing with him. I'm sure he's not THAT bad. And sheesh, there has to be something up with Joe Morgan. Dude was a friggen stud in 2012. After that ACL injury we've heard nothing from CSP and Loomis. Frickers need to tell us loyal Saints fans what's up... I'm sure the Joe Morgan of 2012 would give us a much better chance at winning games.

seems like alot of wasted roster spots, the FB situation is baffling to say the least. Ive never had 1 complaint about A Johnson.

meachem is horrible. how he made this roster the last 2 years ill never understand.
Posted on 10/19/14 at 8:49 pm to LEASTBAY
Yeah A Johnson has been one of the bright spots on the offense really. I'm pretty curious to see how Lorig does though after all of that off season hype people gave him. He's kind of like a Charles Clay type player, who can switch between FB and TE (very versatile in the sense.) But it sucks that he had the ankle injury early... We could have easily used someone else for his spot like a good LB/CB, but oh well..

Seriously, what the frick with Toon already? Is he Arrington 2.0 or what?
Posted on 10/19/14 at 9:01 pm to Chad504boy
Meachem 2014 4 receptions for 60 yards
Toon CAREER 4 receptions for 68 yards
Morgan 2014 ZERO stats
Morgan 2012 10 receptions for 379 yards
Morgan is in Payton's doghouse for some reason

Meach is playing the role of deep threat running at the same speed as Colston :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I have no idea why he is still on the roster, much less why we throw a deep ball his way every game
Posted on 10/19/14 at 9:06 pm to EmperorGout
Well he's there for his blocking... At least that's what everyone tells me.... As for why he gets a deep ball every game? I figure the play has broken down and Brees simply has no other option.
Posted on 10/19/14 at 9:16 pm to Chad504boy
I'm confused as hell as to why Morgan isn't active on Sundays and getting two deep balls thrown his way every game.
I don't get it.

Jesus... Toon takes up a roster spot?

Biggest question mark of the season no doubt. We have two pretty good, young burners in Morgan and Stills, yet we choose to use Meachem instead of Morgan? Sheesh, what the hell are the coaches smoking

Meach is slow and Brees still can't throw it to him
Posted on 10/19/14 at 9:24 pm to KindaRaw
Stills was on the sideline while Meach was in the game on the final drive...
not saying that was the reason we lost...just find it interesting that our 2nd most effective receiver was watching the game...while our least effective receiving target was getting crunch time minutes.

This is the exact reason I despise Monty Williams with the Pelicans. Not sure if you watch the NBA at all, but he does this EVERY damn game . Sean is starting to catch on to that unfortunately... But I definitely want to see more Kenny Stills. And more important, deactivating Meachem for Morgan against GB. We'll need all the offense we can get...

I can't imagine what they see in this guy. JM has to get his snaps .
