except it's not. the dog kinda yelps after he shoots it. there's no growling at all.

I guess that is the difference in our views. I can hear the growl and you cannot. It makes sense.

Still wonder why this guy was a dog hunter and let one get away that was perfect for the killing. Have yet to hear a logical reason.

there's the sound of the wind going across the camera mic, but there is absolutely no growl. I've listened to it several times with headphones.

Body cams should be mandatory for every single officer in this country. Not only will it make the officer honest and accountable, but it would make everyone that encounters officers honest and accountable. I know the argument about budgeting and cameras like these are expensive. But how expensive is a lawsuit that a department may face after an incident?

This. Let the public see what happens everyday. The only people that lose by this are the criminals- with and without a badge.

Oh come on. There are plenty of legitimate examples of blatant abuse by police. You don't need to harp on this petty bullshite

Blatant abuse - you're talking about abusing their power, yes?

This is not just an abuse of power and it is also not petty. I also agree that there are plenty of other examples but this is what the thread is about - if you want to discuss police abusing their power/doing sick things in other ways then create a thread about it.

Yes the dogs in the drainage ditch definitely seemed like they were just taking a break from terrorizing humans

I don't always take a break from terrorizing humans...but when I do, it's in a drainage ditch.

The dog he shot was wagging his tail when he pulled the trigger.

Meh, I wouldn't risk a dog bite especially with the breed history. Had this been a lab I would feel differently. Justified shooting IMHO. I rarely say that in cop threads.

Would you feel differently if it had been a cocker spaniel??
