Maybe the reason Deke was so determined to do the show is he realized how much better T-Bob is than him… in demeanor, voice quality, and content as well.
I think T-Bob has potential national talent from what I've heard of him and when you factor in how young and inexperienced he is.

I didn't hear him yesterday, but he sounded bad - hoarse and not as engaged as typical - on Saturday.

It's what made Saints losses in the '90s bearable. I've noticed Deke and Bobby don't really have eccentric regular callers. Too bad.

I like TBob too. Doesnt take himself too seriously, and actually pretty rational in his views. I can tell he does some homework and actually knows another sport other than football.

I pray for Mr. Deke. I think Deke is a good guy but has a short fuse when it comes to his callers. Face it , dumb callers do happen from time to time. Don't take it personally. Perhaps, Deke uses that anger as a part of his show.
I like Deke and his knowledge on high school football. He makes me smile when he talks Ole time Wrassling.

Usually, at least in my recollection, Buddy D insulted his callers in kind of a good natured way and in a humorous manner. Deke talks over people and cuts off anyone who dares to disagree with his viewpoint. He's not witty or funny about it, he's just a dick.

That's funny but true. At my house we just call him Big dick bellavia. He was much better before the gastric bypass and he was a fat arse.
