Man by the end of the season I wasn't even watching many Pels games. Granted the entire roster was hurt by then, but still.

The only good thing I can hope for is that the Pels come out on fire and the city embraces them early on.

IF the roster stays healthy the Pelicans are in the playoffs, and I'm not saying scraping by as an eight seed. Davis with Asik will be a dominate the paint against any team.

It's always been the same dynamic. If the Pels win, people will come to the games and interest will grow. The "embracing" part will happen after the first of the year, assuming they are winning and fun to watch.
