It was the right call. The only reason the defender grabbed the receiver was because he was trying to fight off the illegal block

Right call but that type of pick/rub happens multiple times in every game and is never called. Not a coincidence that they decided to actually call it then.

Same here. I thought the call was terrible. There was no pick, nor interference.

I saw a receiver move forward a few yards where he was engaged by the man covering him.

Terrible call at any point in the game. Worse under the circumstances.

FSU got away with some pretty awful holding on a few plays. Then again, ND did as well.

Who gives a shite if it was right call. That was David Robinsons son. You let Admiral Jr have his game winning TD, his father earned that by being the GOAT

Refs were horrible.

One example was not calling 12 men on FSU's defense and then 2 minutes later calling it on Norte dames.

ACC got its championship last year and FSU will get to the playoffs this year. But no way can they beat Mississippi State or Alabama.

Awful call. Watch the defender wrap his arms around the wr.

Wr couldn't even get off line.

Edit: the DB grabbed the WR as he was coming off the line

No he didn't. The wr lowered his shoulder into the db as soon as he come off the line

i don't have a dog in this fight, but that same play is done 10-15 times a game and you pretty much never see it called

i guarantee you FSU got away with the same "holding" multiple times in this game without any call

Bingo. It's done every play. To call it in the end of the game is complete bullshite

The db can't touch a wr in the first 5 yards now? The wr ran right into the db, even lowered his shoulder into him. Made absolutely zero attempt to run a route

I agree with that. You see that all the time without a flag. Hate to see that call decide a game.

Really easy call. I definitely would like to see it more often. I've always thought its bush league to set picks. Glad Notre Dame got busted trying such a scared play on the final down. They were afraid to test the D Backs so they ran a bush league pick play.

yeah I was pulling for Notre Dame pretty hard and I thought it was an obvious penalty

That's the rule of thumb.
