If drugs were legal and weren't addictive, would you do them?

I'm 40 years old and I'm proud to say that I've never touched an illegal drug in my life. I was always taught that they were addictive and illegal and for the weak, for people whose lives weren't sufficient enough as-is so therefore they had to use drugs to get that added something that they were missing.
That bring said, I often wonder what the effects are of these drugs that makes people risk jail time and makes the drugs their top priority over all else including their families. Whether it be marijuana, cocaine, LSD, heroin, crack, whatever, I gotta say that if they were legal, and I knew I wouldn't get addicted, I'd certainly like to try each one and see what all the fuss is about.

You were lied to, and you bought it hook, line, and sinker.

You're pretty damn condescending and have a holier-than-thou attitude.

THC, more than likely. Great for stress.

If they would enhance my experience of things, yes. Why not?

LOL terrible thread.
They are mostly illegal (sans sugar, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine etc) and addictive and people still do a shite ton of them.

I'm getting ready to find out. Going to retire soon. No more being susceptible to random drug tests.
