A person with the flu could be described as a patient with Ebola symptoms.

sick of hearing about it. Already some on the right are using it against Obama on the campaign trail. Truly pathetic.

That's a really credible looking web site, too.

Many here don't even realize sites like WND, etc. are funded by conservative special interest groups.

Exactly.

Fox is reporting that the ship is now on the way to Galveston with the woman still quarantined aboard. LINK

Much ado about nothing new, it appears.

Not really surprised that most on here wouldn't realize that.

The passenger had voluntarily entered quarantine on board the ship and remains free of any fever or other symptoms of illness.

Why would someone quarantine themselves if they had no symptoms? Why would they even suspect they needed to be quarantined?

ETA: Ok, I see the answer.

Why do you keep clicking on the threads then? Just skip right over them and move on to something else to bitch about.

Not enough threads about things other than Ebola? Start one about a topic you wish to discuss or go to another board where the discussion is to your liking. Clicking on a thread just to bitch about it is a ridiculous waste of your time & ours. Move along.

When does the regularly scheduled panic resume?

Was thinking... it's easy to roll my eyes at the 1/2 employ schools today where children of people on the OH-DFW flight attend but I wonder how comfortable to would be sending my own child to school like that. Logically, I know infection there would be slim to none but emotionally it would be difficult to send him.

Maybe you should've used the rest of my quote as to why I'm sick of it.

I'm not sure moms ever feel 100% comfortable about anything when it comes to their children's safety. It's a constant battle between emotion & logic to raise happy, healthy kids.

I know I would be a lot more comfortable if this wasn't in my backyard and didn't know and regularly interact with people who work there. It's a big hospital and a lot of people work there.

If usual panic is about a 2, my wife is about at a 5. But, she is usually right, so I'm not complaining.

You better watch out around Dallas.

Obama is getting creative by putting Ebola on a cruise ship off the coast of Belize.

I thought it was pretty smart of him to blow up Texas. Why wait for the immigrants to take over?

Well, you just me see a trend in immigration where people cross the border and immediately turn East or West. Thanks, Obama?

Ebola symptoms =/= Ebola, dip shite. And why would a person with Ebola symptoms on a cruise ship off the coast of Belize destroy the US public's confidence in government?

ETA: The person is probably just sea sick.

Forget the fence. Place the quarantine buildings along the border. Efficient use of tax dollars.

Obama is just doing random shite now. You never know where he and the CDC's recommendations will put the ebola. It could be at a hostel in Kazakstan or he might just put a big map of the earth up on the wall and throw a dart at it blindfolded.
