You are going to have to pay to park since we can't park on Nicholson anymore. Honestly, any lot would work. I know that no one wants to pay $20-$30 to park, but that is how it is now. Any of the pay to park lots would work, since I am assuming a 12 year old would have no trouble walking to the stadium and back.

ETA - Also since it is Bama, try to get there as early as you can. It's going to be packed.

You need to figure out what direction you need to head after the game and park in a lot that has the exit flow going in that general direction.

YOu can't get out there early enough. I;ve never seen so much traffic so early than I did for 2012. It was madness.

This isn't true. Free parking in the hayfield lots if you don't want to pay. Relatively easy escape from back there too. They will fill up though so I'd say 5 hours before kickoff at least.

Are there any free parking lots closer to the stadium than Hayfield and Levee lots? Where are these pay as you enter lots on gameday?

Levee lots really aren't very far. Parked there a few weeks ago and not a bad walk.

there is but, i'm convinced they don't follow it. Traffic control has been different for all 4 home games so far.
