In a way LSU getting spanked by 2 of the most talented and seasoned teams in the country early in the season for our young Tigers was good. The fact that we are not even ranked is better. Beating a better-than-average Florida team in their stadium was a great morale booster for the team. Now we get a respectable Kentucky team on Sat. night in Death Valley with a chance to build even more momentum heading into showdown with powerhouse Ole Miss in Tiger stadium again. We get through these 2 games and look out! The team is peaking and our best players are getting plenty of opportunity to help secure victory. I like our chances. :rimshot:

I would feel so good about this team right now if we had a decent quarterback.

As of now, we don't. It is all that is really holding this team back from having a really special end to the season.

Ok, I've had a few frosty beverages tonight and was about to pick up that purple drank and dance naked on the table, but then I got to the above quote..... (sigh).

Move along folks, nothing to see here!

Better than average? No. Florida is a trainwreck.

Of the many ways I would choose to describe the aforementioned gridiron maulings, 'good' was not among them.

Anus-crippling or competitively-challenged, yes. Good...no.

Ole Miss is NOT a power house...they have a solid experienced team this year but they are far from a powerhouse...

All I can say is "I must be watching a totally different team!? I see youth and inexperience all over the place! Our QB's, LB's, DB's, DL! The most improvement I see so far is at RB, LF is figuring out the speed of the game and the OL is blocking better against lesser competition! Other than that don't smoke crack rock and post, bad situation for all!

If your conservative offensive strategy doesn't change, this will be another blowout. We will not line up and pound the ball against Ole Miss and hope to be in the game at the end.

The issue with Florida is not the defense...so you fail here. Also, the OL opened up holes against Auburn as well....and they are considered to have a pretty good DL as well.

Despite all that, we are just not very good on either side of the ball.

not at all. our team is a ways off from peaking. who knows how long but until our offense can actually get plays off on a timely basis and the WR's run the correct routes, the OL blocks the right people and the QB can get comfortable and hit some receivers we are not a passing threat. no passing threat means tough times.
