Get a fricking flu shot you stupid frick!
Tens of thousands of people have died as a result of contracting the flu this year alone. 4,000 have died from Ebola.

What if they found out that some of the people that died from the "flu" actually died from ebola since one of the side affects is flu like symptoms?

Yeah but the Ebola mortality rate is a bit higher. And the Flu kills the elderly and little babies.

The flu kills the elderly and compromised patients. Ebola is far more deadly in those it infects.

Pretty sure that anyone that has died from the flu didn't bleed out of every opening before they died.

Yea...So actually a lot of them don't bleed a lot. That is only a certain strain.

Unless this board is full of a bunch of 80 something year old bed ridden posters, I don't think many have to worry about dying from the flu.

Flu shots, due to cost, are out of reach for many.

That's actually not true.

As worked up as everyone will be about ebola, the flu will kill more people than ebola here. Young people too.

agreed...I was told by a several different medical professionals that last year's flu killed an inordinate number of people in the 30 - 40 year old range...

This. It was an abnormal year, but it was crazy what it did to young otherwise healthy people. Sure, a significant majority of young people that get the flu will be alright, but there's more than you'd expect that end up incredibly ill or dead.
