Both are fine food wise but I personally wouldn't wait in line for breakfast there. Maybe drive out to Mid-City and try out a little neighborhood joint like Wakin Bakin or Canal Street Bistro.

For dinner you can't go wrong with many of the places listed so far. Clancy's, Gautreau's, Peche, La Boca, Coquette would be my recs.

If I was coming to NO and staying in Warehouse District, this is what 48 hours of eating would look like.

Assume arrival 4 pm Fri.

Head to Peche, sit at bar or oyster bar. Order oysters, booze and crudos. Fried bread as well. Kill a couple hours walking around, popping in for a drink at a smattering of places. 830 or 9 get reservation at La Boca. Provoleta, pisco sours, sweatbreads, hanger mid rare.

Saturday morn, ramble to Crescent City Farmers Market. Pick up a pastry (berry turnover) for breakfast. Would also get a baguette from Bellegarde, some cheese from Ryal (goat feta) and anything else for snack later. Swing by Keife and Co. For wine, more cheese, and cured meats. Take haul from ccfm and Keife on streetcar and head to Audubon or City Park for picnic. A wise man would also swing by Butcher for their chocolate chip cookies as well.

Around 4, id head to Domenica for happy hpur pizzas and more booze. For dinner, Id go to Emerils and pair a couple apps with an awesome bottle of wine.

Skip breakfast sunday

Do I need to make reservations to any of the lunch spots like Peche or are the reservations just for dinner?

It doesn't hurt to make a reservation at Peche, but if it's just 2 it shouldn't be hard to walk in and just grab a spot at the bar. I walked in with a group of 3 Monday at about 1:30 pm and was seated immediately.

We had reservations on a Thursday night and were seated immediately. It was packed so I am glad we did have the reservation.
