No idea, but is Ernie Johnson a worse game broadcaster than Chris Berman?

Impossible, I still have nightmares of him calling golf and the MNF doubleheaders.

At least during the last few months, yes. I can't imagine anyone else has been better. It seems like the only runs people are scoring come from home runs.

that guy is really bad. when did he turn the damn hat sideways?

and sorry but ernie is not a broadcaster, he's a host. he's so stiff and forced it's annoying. that catch by gordon on my boy jj hardy was agonizing to listen to.

I really like watching this team. I'm on the KC bandwagon through the WS.

The 1971 Orioles of 4 20-game winner fame had three players in their prime on their roster who were probably top 3 at their respective defensive position all-time (Blair in CF, Belanger at SS, Brooks at 3B). As Sparky Anderson said, trying to hit the ball through the Orioles infield was like trying to hit it through a brick wall.

No player who played at least 100 defensive innings had a Range Factor worse than league average at their position. The O's trotted out plus defender at every position, and an all-time great at three of them.

IF the cards can get through San Fran, I don't feel super confident with them going up against the KC buzzsaw.

I don't remember Boog Powell being much more than average defensively at 1B. The Orioles were very good at all other positions

That team was pretty sick. Who was the SS?

you had Boone, Mike Cameron, Olerud, and Ichiro
