I interviewed on campus with them when I was an undergrad. It took a week for them to get back. They invite their favorite candidates to a day long interview in Lafayette/Broussard, where they actually try to sell themselves to the candidates as much as they interview them. It's a fairly low stress process.

I'd say that if she doesn't hear back from them by tomorrow night, give them a call on Friday expressing her continued interest in the company and the field engineering role.


In those days, at least for the cementing roles in the field, the female engineers were never expected to do any heavy lifting for rigging up or tearing down.

Dry hole imo, or perhaps a gusher.

I think they were a day or two late in calling me and I was offered a 2nd interview and eventually a job.

Don't panic.

A lot of companies do this just for the publicity, same as job fairs. They are not hiring anyone, just blowing smoke.
