that's like a Hawaiian ceviche, except I don't think it has acid in it to 'cook' the fish? Recipe? Trying to figure out a raw dinner option for the wife and I.

Caught Sunday.

There's 1,000 different variations. You'll see that when you start searching. Use the common ingredients and the other ones that you think you'll like.

DonChowder's Poke Recipe

ETA picture:

Mine usually looks like this except that I add the ogo (pickled red seaweed).

That's the thread I was looking for, Thank You.

I'll give a shot. May even take a picture just to wrap this thread up. I hate open ended threads where people ask for help then disappear.

Done and done. Made poke with a side salad of little yellow tomatoes and avocado then made up a bit of rice noodles. Good stuff.

Yours looks better, but this was my first try and our specialty grocery store didn't have shite.

ETA: I know I plate like crap, but I don't like my food touching. I put the wife's poke over her noodles, but I still didn't plate it like an expeditor.

Apparently they still make those Annieglass plates, I thought they were 80's leftovers. Mine are '89s and my folks gave us a huge set of them. I almost dropped one tonight and I looked to see if they were replaceable. I wonder if the quality is better or worse from 25 years ago.

I know, off topic as frick. Thanks, it was killer.
