I chose......poorly (Killing Them Softly)

scrolling through netflix and decided to watch this...crime movie plus pitt plus Gandolfini plus Liotta= my kind of movie


wrong. man this movie couldve been so much better. the plot was so stagnant and they dragged the hell out of it. not to mention Gladofini was just a giant time filler in the movie. he had no purpose in the film. You could realistically cut 90 percent of that movie and have the same plot


i did think the film had a really nice dialoge (the final rant by Pitt was very nice) and the effects of some of the action was very cool (Liotta getting beat to shite was tough to watch) so thats what ill give them point for.....

however they forgot to make an interesting plot, or to add in suspense to any scene with any payoff, and found a way to completely neuter a mob story of any badassery or intrigue. man it was a waste


and i guess the whols Bush/Obama thing throughout was supposed to lead up to Pitts ending but it was just distracting throughout and didnt add anything to an already devoid plot.



TL:DR it was terrible, dont watch
