In what world are these not the same thing?

He wants the security of being committed with all the benefits of being uncommitted.

I thought Miles had a policy that once you give a verbal, then you no longer take official visits to other schools.

I would go to Clemson, Miami, Washington, Oregon, and BYU.

I'd go to Miami, Hawaii, San diego state, Colorado , and Boston College for clam chowder.

I know it doesn't make LSU fans feel good to see someone as talented as Guice re-open his recruiting, but he's a smart kid. He deserves to see everything that's out there and I believe LSU is the best major venue for a college football player.
Really hope to see him in purple & gold!

Not the first guy to do this simply for the purpose of getting to be "wined and dined" and to see the sights other places have to offer. Unless somebody has something spectacularly unexpected, they end up with their first commitment. As I recall LF did the same thing. If you want to see if it's a serious issue, pay attention to what the LSU recruiters are doing. If they seem at ease, like they were with LF, then I wouldn't worry. If they are in panic mode, like they were with Landon Collins way back (if my memory serves me right), then I'd be concerned.

I'm not worried here with Guice. Word is he just wants to take a few visits and this wasn't a surprise to the staff. I'm not worried one bit.

Not completely unlike pre-wedding jitters.

Commitment is not always an easy thing.

He should look around and make sure. He's earned it.

He just needs to not be distracted by pretty faces, fawning coaches, and tempting words. Instead, he needs to remember why he committed in the first place.

College is something that he will remember for the rest of his life.

LF - 93 carries
Hilliard - 65 carries
Magee - 48 carries
Williams - 39 carrie

that is 113 carries opening up next year....if LF gets 40 of them, Williams gets 20, that still leaves, 50+ carries thru seven games for a true freshman.

I see it as a perfect situation for him. I know everyone wants to be a feature back, but he will get his shot here

Id go to USC for the girls, AU for the cash, Bama for the car, FSU for the shoes, then end up at ND and pray for forgiveness for all my sins.

kid needs to look up the definition of "committed"

I tell my wife, Yes I'm still married to you and committed, but I'm reopening my options and taking 5 dates with different women, but don't worry honey! I'm still with you
