Nice work. How did you isolate him like that? Would be great on a transparent background too that way you could add it on just about anything

I did that last year. When you break the gif into layers, there's really on six or seven, iirc, that have him moving like a dino. I isolated those and used the lasso to cut him out of each layer. It is a transparent background in my PSD file. Here's one I did with in a thread on that gif soon after it came out.

You have after effects don't you? That is called rotoscoping.

I've got AE now, too (the entire CS6). Is it hard to learn?

its very confusing at first, if you have access to some beginner tutorials they would help out a lot. I can answer any questions you might have once you get started.

Thanks man. I've been playing with it the past few minutes. It's like Chinese calculus.

Work bought me a new computer - 64bit monster - and the IT guy did the standard drive wipe and reinstall for all university computers. He forgot to install Adobe PDFpro, which I use regularly for real work stuff, so when I emailed him about it, he sent the link for a server download....only it was the link to the Creative Suite. I pointed out the mistake and he sent me the link for Adobe Pro and said "have fun with creative suite."

Yes'um I do, but I got so busy that I had to shelve it for a bit I think I watched a few tutorials on it - had something to do with green backgrounds IIRC. I'll check it out though thanks

@ HB - Can't believe I missed that one from last year Looks great
