Can't believe they made Chubb co freshman... Took him 11 extra carries to get to 140 yards AND it was against Missouri rather than a good Florida front 7.

Yeah, that's ridiculous.

This is just the beginning of the Chubb vs Fournette debate that will occur throughout the next 2 seasons.

Absolutely. Amazing how good Fournette looked when the offensive line gave him a little gap to go through. Should be a fun battle between those two.

I agree and LF has all the tools. He still seems a little easy to tackle, especially around the feet. He will get better at that.

Well, LF certainly won last week.

Fournette: 27 for 140 yards and 2 TD

Chubb: 38 for 143 yards and 1 TD

Tell that to the guys tackling him. He was punishing Florida.

And he still hasn't broken loose yet. Somebody is going to get dusty for a 75 yarder soon. I actually think he's run pretty much the same all year, but it's clear he is more decisive now and that's making a big difference in his results. His punishing style has been consistent since Wisconsin though.

He certainly isn't shying away from contact. He looked pretty comfortable against UF in a very hostile environment, but slightly tentative at times. I can't wait until he fully shakes loose.

That little subtle movement that froze the defender to gain an extra 10 yards was great.

You definitely see him going north and south rather than sideline to sideline and trying to hit the home run every play. After that spin move, I don't know if he lost balance and just went straight north but if he bounced it out after the spin I think he could have scored. This play shows him maturing for sure.

That move is what makes him great, hardly costs him a step and allows him to blow by a defender who otherwise was in good position

He has been running like this all season. He just needed the carries. You can't call anyone a bust if you're only giving them 9-11 carries a freaking game.

Uhh, try watching the film. He trucks guys like he did in high school... but if they touch his feet he goes down. And he rarely breaks a tackle. Like I said, he's got the tools, he just needs to "refuse to go down."

LF needs to see 20-25 carries a game.
