He was right there on UFs TD pass, just like RR was on Coates last week.

He's definitely proved the preseason complaining about playing him over Robinson was foolishness.

They're all very good. Especially since there is no pass rush being generated by the front 4.

Im not buying it. Collins has been impressive this year. Nothing against white, but he struggles a lil bit against big bodies. hes young though and will get stronger. But at this point i think Collins is the best corner on the team.

White is our best corner, not even debatable. Second very well might be Collins though

No he hasnt.

No he doesnt.

Tre White - 15 tackles, 2.0TFL, 1 QB hurry, 2 INTs (tied 1st), 3 pass break ups, 5 passes defender, given up 0 TDs.

Jalen Collins - 15 tackles, 1.0 TFL, 0 QB hurry, 0 INTs, 3 PBUs, 3 Passes defended, given up 1 TD.

Im a huge Collins supporter too. I was expecting big things from him last season, but he struggled. I never lost faith in him though. Hes got great size and is a really good athlete.

That said, Tre White is our best CB and has been since the 1st game of his freshman year. He is a better athlete than Collins, more smooth in and out of his breaks, excellent ball skills, solid tackler and pretty physical in run support, and is the best cover CB we have. Hes always in good position and rarely gets beat / burned. And hes our only DB that teams try and stay away from.

Collins has improved a lot since last year and is a damn good player. But White is the best CB we have.

Why do people here constantly shite on White? There is no question that he's our best corner. People were pimping RR up all summer and not Collins is better than White? I know people here will never 100% see eye to eye, but this is about as clear cut as it gets.

What is bad about Collins is he has poor ball skills. He is in position, but if he would turn around, read the receiver, etc. her could make some interceptions. He got hit in the back with a ball last week, seriously? He needs better coaching to play the receiver and makes some plays on the ball. White is our best corner. He struggles against really big receivers, but he never get beat and is hardly ever out of position.

Yep. So far Jalen is our best corner against the run and pass.

He's not going to get the turnovers like White, but he is stride for stride with every player.

Guy is playing for money this year lol.

I've been beyond impressed with Jalen Collins this season. I was very skeptical when I heard he had surpassed RR simply due to how many times we saw him burned in previous seasons. But with his speed and agility he has most certainly won me over. Besides the fact that he is an even better person!
