I brought my guys home Saturday night to see their families. They have been hard at it! These folks took a beating in the garden district. I've been fortunate to meet some great people in the area and they really appreciate the help. Unfortunately, Code Enforcement has been using this opportunity for finacial gain and I have a battle on my hands with Janway, but I'm up for a good fight. Anyone know any good legal representation in the parish? They are using this time of devistation to strong arm small businesses like me helping their people, but I have been recording conversations and I happen to know just a few folks in power so I'm about to come out swinging. Janway has been a complete dick and I'm pretty sure I have some good incriminating evidence.

Wish I would have known. Had my light plant supplying power to some customers on stubbs between 2nd and 3rd. We have been all over, my crew is working on 1st today in the first block. Looks like I finally talked to the right person. Nothing like having Homeland Security and disaster preparedness on your side when the city is asking them for millions of dollars. I love a good fight! Most importantly though, I didn't charge the residents for work that they shouldn't have to pay and couldn't be happier for them!
