I tried it for the first time. Is it just me or is there too much rice in this product?

I eat it often. Grills fine. We don't have many choices up here.

Too much rice and not enough flavor. But it's better than Zummo's and in a boudinless world it beats nothing.

had some yesterday. Barely had any rice in it. Was pretty good, but lacked a little spice

I dont mind it. For packaged mass market boudin it grills and tastes fine IMO

I had never heard of so many people grilling boudin before coming to this site. Is this how most people here typically eat it?

Its not the best, personally I like a lot of rice in mine. Rice was used a filler in the place of meat bea
cuse it was cheap and it filled you up. I find some boudin has too much meat but thats my opinion. We dont really gave good boudin here so if im out of Scott stash I get Richards.

It's the boudin I eat off the grill when I'm somewhere that has no boudin. It's not bad on a po'boy with some pepperjack cheese, grilled onions, and a little ketchup, but it's not good boudin.

If it isn't fresh, then grillings yyour best option. Personally, I like it best fresh made steamed with a cold beer.

I agree with a few others, Richards is the "better than nothing option and only decent way is on the grill.

I usually just steam or broil to heat it up.

Think it's good on the grill or in breakfast applications

shite Otis, sounds like I need to make a run to Mecca with some treats from Scott. You provide the onion rings and sauce piquant, I'll bring the boudin and hogshead. Deal??
