Bench player so won't play but who's the better to have on the bench?

I'd prefer not to drop Patterson if I can but I definitely think Shorts is worth owning, and potentially starting in a few weeks if he can prove he can get TDs like he did at the end of the 2012 season.

See I don't need this player as my other receivers are much better. He's just gonna sit on the bench so not sure if I should hold onto patterson and hope he turns it around eventually or say screw it

That leaves you 2 bench receivers.
It isn't always the worst thing in the world to stash a high-potential guy on your bench where he can't hurt you and wait for him to break out. Do you have any other bench players (non-wr?)

We are only allowed 2 wr and 2 rb on the bench. Rest of my bench is Andre Williams, Ingram, and Gates or Kelce

Oh, alright. Yeah I mean both he and Shorts have the potential to break out. I'd rather have shorts though. He's safer. He doesn't have 0 and 1 point games really, unless he gets injured.
