Making my Christmas list for santa and thinking of a Fitbit.

Can anyone give their experience with them? Also is there anything out there that's just as good but not $100?

Wife and I are very healthy people so I know we will use it. I have an iPhone 5 so not sure jf that matters or not.

TIA

FitBit is supposed to be coming out with a new product soon... my guess would be before Christmas. I'm interested in what it will be like as I am considering getting an activity tracker as well.

If you go to their website and try to go the the FitBit Force, you'll get a message saying that product is no longer available but they are working on the next gen. You can enter your email to be notified when it's available.

I just got a FitBit and wife has Jawbone Up.

The Up is more accurate in terms of actual steps. For a male, I prefer the look of Fitbit and the way it fits.

It's a great glorified pedometer. I don't really get the purpose. Best thing about it IMO opinion is the sleep tracker. It just detects movement, but can at least tell when you were restless. The activity tracking part is just "steps".

have a fitbit flex, have had to have it replaced once because it malfunctioned.

however, it's worked pretty well since i've had it and the syncing to your phone is pretty seamless via bluetooth.

i don't know if it's gotten me to think 'healthier,' but i am more conscious about taking a break at work to walk around more often.

I had one but ended up returning it cause it just wasnt worth it to me.

My favorite part was the silent alarm that you can set for it. Pretty awesome way to wake up in the morning. Instead of having a loud beeping arse noise you just have a vibration run through your arm. Much more peaceful and still effective way to wake up
