Anyone notice Miles is doing a lot of past tense references in his post game and locker room talk?

Dangerous to read much into Miles' speech, but I noticed it watching the SEC network coverage.

Don't have any quotes but for example "I have been fortunate" rather than "I am fortunate" to lead these men and these teams.

Saying have been fortunate can also imply that he is talking about both past tense and present. Also he just won his 100th game so I would expect him to acknowledge the past. No worries bro he isn't going anywhere.

He just won his 100th game, so it was a reflective tone in perspective of his milestone achievement.

Don't look anymore into it than that.

A good AD should always have a current short list. Hope Alleva has one

Les never is very forthcoming to the media, you are reading into crap that is not readable. Actions speak louder than words.

yep, cause you never know. He's been here an even 10 years and got 100 victories. No one would blame him if he decided to end his tenure at LSU to try his hand at rebuilding his alma mater.

I noticed it. I thought it was weird, but I don't listen to him talk a lot.

.

You mean present perfect tense, which indicates something that happens at an indeterminate time in the present.
