Interesting. One questions that stems from this is; do you think Muslims have a right not to remove their veil? I know we have a lot of cop haters on this board, but I feel the veil must be removed to identify the person.

They tried to ban veils in France for this exact reason. Perhaps they need to make the register their fingerprints or something instead.

This is an issue involving the influence of political correctness on police procedure.
This issue will be with us for the rest of our lives, because there will always be many voices in the USA calling for modification of police procedures to accommodate political correctness.

My new religion requires that I carry a suppressed automatic weapon at all times and wear a ski mask. Cops always messing with me about it.
