Friends becoming a distributor for LifeVantage? Legit?

So I have some friends trying to give me a pitch to be a distributor for this company, LifeVantage. I have no intention of doing such thing. Something doesn't sit right with me about this. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about it or is involved with it.

50 bucks a month.. I took it for one month and couldn't tell a difference so I cancelled that shite.

They don't want me to buy it. They are working for the company trying to distribute it and want me to become a distributor. It feels like a pyramid scheme.

There are some really gullible arse people in Louisiana trying to get rich quick with their "business opportunity". It's sad and funny as hell.
