Rohan had a nearly identically horrible game in his first start against Auburn. Jamarcus had awful games early on and one of the worst I've ever seen from a big-time qb against Au in '06. Harris will be fine.

What stands out to me is the leadership. Standing in front of the press and taking all the blame. The kid is wise beyond his years and understands how to lead people. He takes none of the credit and all of the blame.

Before he's done he'll be a legend at LSU.

I like Harris. I feel better knowing he's our QB.

What? JJ never took blame. That's real retarded, sir.

So every freshman who has a bad first start is going to be JJ now?

I agree. It'll take time but I'm not doom and gloom on this team. We have a ton of young talent on offense and some potential on D with guys like Adams, Beckwith, Jefferson, etc. Next year is our year.

Agreed. Actually, he'll be way better than fine before his time is done here.

LSU is a fricking trainwreck. I am talking specifically about Harris. He's the most mature Frosh I've ever seen.

No, LSU is not close to being a good team. The lines are a dumpster fire. Great skill players on both sides of the ball won't negate that.

In reference to leadership, they couldn't be more opposite.

A season ticket holder who's sick and tired of being jerked around by coaches and then having idiots stand up for them and try to act like everything is sunshine and daisies.

this thread isn't about sunshine or the coaches. Now backup the JJ comment.

I haven't seen anything from either Harris or Jennings that proves that they're "special." They remind me more of JJ instead of any legend at LSU at this point in time. The last good thing that happened was Arkansas of last year when Jennings made the Hail Mary. Since then it's been nothing but absolute terrible play from both QB's.
