We may have very well faced the two best teams in college football in a young rebuilding season.

This UF team has been opportunistic on D and deplorable on O.

Great measuring stick this week to see how we stack up against a very similar opponent in a very similar state in its program.

I expect a tight game, I think it comes down to taking care of the ball and field position. I don't expect to see much of Harris unless we have field position and we are behind.

I think our 2 SEC games have been very telling.

We will learn nothing good today.

We win, all it tells us is just how bad things are at UF.

We lose…well, we already know how bad LSU is.

To Miles' credit, these close to the vest games have had a pretty favorable outcome %. Of course that was in years when were led by D.

Don't let the haters deter you, I agree. We're having a down year...it happens. Be thankful it rarely happens to us and over the last 10+ years we always bounce back.

Auburn and Moo St are really good this year, just like we pounded them some season when we were good. Today's game could go a long way in building confidence in this team, especially the young guys getting their first SEC win in the Swamp.

Something is wrong with my yahoo sports app. It used to have a number before LSU logo. Anyone know why it's not showing up?

I agree wt the OP. If we can't win this game, the rest of the season looks pretty bleak.

Don't count on it. Florida is #99 in the nation in passing yards allowed. Their pass defense alone made the Kentucky game exciting and that is a team that Florida has beaten 28 consecutive times.

Just click on the "Week 1" tab at the top. Leave it on that setting for the next 8 or 9 months and you should be fine.

I may be deemed a sunshine pumper here, but I totally agree. This is a big game whether you think we suck or not. We win today, then most likely beat Kentucky next week, all of the sudden we are 6-2 (2-2 SEC) and have a possible undefeated top 5 ranked Ole Miss team at home with revenge on our minds from last year. Tiger Stadium will be rocking that day if that is the case, and it may be the perfect time for Ole Miss' inevitable and patented collapse to end the season.

I think if we win today we have a 50/50 chance of finishing the season with 3-4 losses, which really isn't as bad as everyone wants to make it out to be, especially with how strong the West is this year. We lost 3 games last year with a much more experienced team.

Now if we lose today............the dumpster fire begins.

Id say QB play and home field is the difference more than coaching. But to me this game comes down their QB. If he plays better than ours, we lose the game. Im not sure if ours plays well over there whats the final outcome, but its our only chance.

who knows with a team that is young and inexperienced at key positions?

imo, one single game is never a harbinger of the future with a team such as this. if it is, then we saw enough against msu and auburn.

I believe that if the team remains focused there will be spurts of improvement throughout the year.
