It's got to be the worst feeling on Earth. Didn't sleep at all last night and hugged the toilet all night.

Senior year of high school I woke up at 4am and couldn't walk because I was in so much pain. Was in the hospital for a day. Finally just farted and was out of the hospital in no time. The taco bell the night before may have been a bad choice.

Yes. It was diagnosed as dysentery though. Threw up non stop for 5 hours. Had to go to urgent care I couldn't even keep down water.

it has been debated on here several times that food poisoning takes several hours to develop, where others say it can happen almost immediately...i believe if you get FP, you'll know it fast.

It wasn't the shits for me, it was vomiting every 15 minutes, no energy to get out of bed. Been drinking Gatorade religiously, trying not to get dehydrated.

This sounds horrible. I need to come up with a new "sick-day" excuse.

Yep. Lasted a solid two days, although the first 18 hours was the worst.

arse on the toilet, head in the trash can. Same time. Terrible.

The culprit we believe was a new York dog from sonic. Haven't been back since.

I threw up for a good 2 hours then I went to sleep and I shite the bed (literally) twice. Then spent three days recovering because I couldn't hold any food down the first day and the next two I was too weak to do anything.

When the Saints won the Super Bowl in 2009 I had food poisoning on the Thursday before. I was puking and shitting at the same time for 3 hours straight. I was Invited to a super bowl party at my buddies house because " he said if the Saints ever made it to a Super Bowl he wants to watch it with a diehard Saints fan". Come Sunday night I still couldn't move because I was so weak from being dehydrated. I called my buddy and told him I couldn't make it and he completely understood.

The quality of employees and the way they handle foods at the biggies like BK, McD's, Popeyes, etc..Is something to always seriously consider.

Drink water all day and mix in a ton of pedialyte. Yes, pedialyte. Even if you can't keep it down, it's very important that you keep doing it.

What crazy timing, I was about to make this thread. Had it last night and still feeling it now. About 12 hours on and off of sitting on the toilet and throwing up in the tub at the same time.

I've never been so miserable. I'm going to have to drive to get gatorade soon and I'm not sure I can even move.

That's probably the worst part, the weakness is insane. I never really gave food poisoning much thought, but I know now it's a heavy hitter for sure.
