Robert Covington? Should we?

It appears the Rockets will part ways with Robert Covington. He plays the 3. I don't know much about him, but considering the need we have despite having Miller, Babbitt, and Salmons is he someone worth taking a flyer on?

Rockets have 20 players on the roster and he's the first one they get rid of. That might tell you something.
He's a d-leaguer basically.
Any time he's gotten a chance on the Rockets, he's sucked. Even in summer league this year, you'd think he could dominate if he's any good... nope... he sucked there too. Preseason? Still sucks.
It's weird because in the d-league he averaged 23.2 ppg (2nd best in the league), 9.2 rebounds per game, and 2.4 steals per game (2nd best in the league).
He was also the D-League's rookie of the year.
But whenever he plays anywhere but the d-league, he sucks. Maybe he's just a product of their system...

As a Rockets fan I think he's a worthy pick up. Would play well as a good player for a 2nd unit. Just not a starting caliber guy, nor will he be
