I have a feeling coach Strong is going to get his first substantial victory.

Heard on SVP that the last time UT was this big an underdog (1989) they won straight up.

Has no bearing on this game obviously, just thought that was interesting.

I hope you are right. Coach Strong's no-bullshite persona has been a breath of fresh air compared to mealy-mouthed Mack Brown.

Yeah. I think it's 14.5. Texas sucks, but that is a huge line for a rivalry game.

Didn't Texas stomp them last year as 14 point dogs?

What is so sad in this rivalry is that Peter Gardere is the only QB to win 4 games.

Think of all the great OU QB's and OU teams and Gardere wins 4.

Your wording is confusing. Gardere went to Texas.

Fwiw- both schools have had several great qbs.

Overrated by whom? No one is hyping up a sub-60 completion pct guy.

Not now, this offseason was a different story and that stills carries over. People were expecting him to be the same guy he was against Bama when he was never that before and so far hasn't been that again.
