Been a bunch of talk about which juniors will leave but with the new rules in place which juniors will be elected to get draft grades?

All of these will go except Collins, my opinion.

Some will come out even without a draft grade, that's not going to stop them

Regardless the number the ones we do lose again will set us back. I just wished for once one or a few would come back for their senior or junior year. Losing Kwon would be the biggest hit no doubt.

Fewer than years past, with the draft grade rule changes, etc.

I don't think any of the guys you've mentioned have the size to play in the league next year with the exception of hunter and Hawkins. Both of those guys have plenty they can still improve on. Wouldn't be surprised if we get most underclassmen back this year.

This is really funny.
I would tell these guys to watch the last two SEC games they played in and ask themselves if they REALLY look like pro material.
I guarantee this; scouts are looking at every game. The TEAM was beaten like a rented mule in both games.
Unless something different happens in all facets of the team in the next 6 games, coaching on down, it will be laughable to think that many will be looked on as pro prospects. Just an old man's opinion.

Some of y'all must watch these guys play and see something different than I do. They are all late round, at best, which obviously means they may still go based on what we have seen. But none of these guys are locks to find themselves on a roster.

I would agree. I mean there's nothing that explicitly states that 5 MUST get draft grades. Maybe these guys look in the mirror and realize they need another year.

I don't see how everyone thinks we're gonna be primed for a title run next year when you factor in losing these guys. I can't imagine our Defense right now without Kwon, Mills, and Hunter. Sure, Hunter has disappointed, but how much of a drop-off is there with the backup? I would imagine a significant amount.

The draft grades will be MUCH different this year.

In the past, there were five categories: first round, at least second round, at least third round, fourth-sevenths rounds or undrafted. Now, there will be only three: first round, second round or stay in school.

The change should definitely benefit LSU.

I guarantee he won't get a 3rd round draft grade from the NFL.

I literally guarantee it.

I think one of the problems is that some of our guys, even if they get a recommendation to "stay in school," will still choose to enter the draft. The changes in the ratings or grading, are just semantics to try and convince more guys to stay in school, but it hasn't stopped our players from leaving early before, even if they knew they were likely a seventh round pick. I wish I knew why we seem to lose more early entrants than other schools.

"Maybe these guys look in the mirror and realize they need another year."

That would be helpful. I don't see the pro talent in great quantity myself. Glimmers, Maybe, but there are no standouts, at least not against 2 quality SEC teams.

Exactly. I don't think there is anyway this team contends next year if they have to replace the entire OLine, and DE will be as big a position of crisis next year as DT is this year. Yes, we will be talented, but we will also be woefully undermanned in some key areas as well.
