BPs assets are certainly worth more than bp itself.

DIVE BABY DIVE.

I have exactly $1,836. Please drop to exactly $68 so I can buy exactly 27 shares!

at 68 right now? yes. most of my shares were at 61 but i did pick up a few more at 67. so 68? 1 more dollar up? big deal. Especially if you are holding long term. The 52 week high is 87 i believe.

Once again concerning BP, rumors are abundant about them selling the GOM platform(s). I'm not talking just one, possibly ALL of them. Major cuts in head count, supposed to be announced soon. This info coming from people in and outside of BP.

Are those rumors still swirling? This was posted about 5-6 weeks ago. Curious to see if anything has been discovered since then

BP has dropped at least one drill ship and is talks concerning two more. I haven't heard anything about them dropping any platforms or head count at this point though.

Yea BP has been getting hit. Y'all think it's still a good long term hold, 5-10 years?

Yes. Staff reduction is coming and they all know it. Saw a BP guy in our local HEB last Sunday. He's biding his time in hopes he gets a package...he's a year away from 25 with them. Emails have gone out to those considering early retirement to put in and you "may" be selected. Hearing it more on the operations side. Weird personnel changes have been going on offshore for awhile too.

I'm ready for the big dogs to continue to fall tomorrow. WTI down below $65 tonight in overseas trading and sliding. I have my eyes on CVX now
