Wiltjer looks bigger & stronger than when he was at Kentucky. Gonzaga will be unstoppable if he replicates this.

I do like the Westbank style rapping music in the background.

Shooting that kind of set shot is much harder to replicate in games.

Pangos and Bell are Seniors are reportedly injury free this year. Next to Kentucky they appear to be the deepest team talent-wise in country.

Try doing that in a game with defenders in your face while moving and not from the top of the key every time

exactly. Watch pre-game warm ups at an NBA game. Guys who are considered poor shooters will knock down 15 shots in a row like its nothing.

i had a cousin that played high level d1 ball and could go 90 out of 100 from the three point line if you just left him alone, and was about a 33% shooter in real games

is this the fricking OT?

if you could do that at the FT line I would be highly impressed, much less the 3-point line

You obviously haven't been to an NBA game, all those guys look like knockdown shooters during warm-ups.

Probably because his shot couldn't be replicated in games very well.

90/100 is really good no matter how you shoot. But some guys can translate that good shooting into games better because of their form... quick release, ability to shoot coming off screens, off the dribble, etc.

Two guys can shoot 90/100 in practice but one guy might shoot 33% in games and the other might shoot 38% in games just due to their form or their size. And of course some of it may be mental with some having the ability to shoot better with a defender coming at them.

He said professionals do it. And its true, watching them warmup and shoot around is ridiculous.

Seems like we hear this about Gonzaga every year and they still haven't made the Elite 8 since 1999.

They are the Virginia Tech of College Basketball. All hype in the preseason and can't back it up in the NCAA tournament.

yeah obviously

and the pros do NOT make 70 out of 75 shots during warmups. They probably are closer to 80%

Played a pick-up game with PJ Brown once. He went like 7 for 10 from deep.

He is a great shooter, but he would go into slumps like no other at Kentucky.

eta: iirc he won the McAA 3-point contest back in high school

I've seen Derek Fisher make 15 straight threes in warm-ups.
