Grand isle side of the road fishing

Can anyone offer a little insight on how its been lately? Thinking about making a trip tomorrow morning since I'm off. I know it can get good when it gets real cold. Never fished it this time of year.

Rucker could pull a limit of trout out a puddle of my piss in a corn field on Kansas. I would love to make a trip with him or Carl Vidrine. I actually know Carl but never fished with him.

I fished on the other side of the rocks as Carl and he was pulling in monster trout after monster trout.
