What are the legislative agendas of the two parties at this point?
Posted by baybeefeetz on 10/8/14 at 6:29 pm00
What, specifically, will the republicans at the national level try to do over the next 2-4 years?
What about the democrats?
I know this depends on which party takes the senate and who is president, so I guess analyze whichever scenarios you think are more likely/interesting.

Republicans: "Modify" obamacare. Probably add some sort of HSA legislation. Some sort of tax reform.
Dems: Minimum wage, climate change stuff

Basically what ever their money distributor's want.
Lawyers needs are more important to dems than their constituents needs and the Republicans have to feed their backers also.
With a fair press, we could have campaig finance reform, but since the press is the 24/7 propaganda arm of the Democratic party, you have zero shot at reform

Republicans: Increase control through more fake wars, increased military spending, false flags and more...
Democrats: Increase control through social engineering using Agenda 21 playbook from the United Nations.
Both: Make sure taxation increases. Make sure Police State increases. Make sure flouridation of water supply continues. Make sure chemical spray of atmosphere continues.

Mostly platitudes.
Obama's not going to have any leverage and even if he was so inclined to do one, the Democrats are going to try to thwart any grand bargain with the Republicans on spending or taxes because they want to elect Hillary.
Consequently, anything the Republicans do, apart from stopping any more bad Democratic legislation, is going to be blocked.
So basically a whole lot of nothing, at least on the domestic front.

I don't agree about false wars.
Out of all the wars the Dems were in charge in 90 petcent of the times wars were started.
Wilson WW1, FDR WW2,Hoover Korean War ( though Ike escalated it) Kennedy Vietnam, Bosnia Clinton.
Basically you only have Iraq under Both Bushes.
Yes, the Republicans want to keep our military stong, strength through peace has worked.

The agenda is for individual members to get re-elected.
I think that's pretty much it.

Keep the war machine humming and the war profiteer's pockets full. That's all that really matters to both sides of the aisle.

What, specifically, will the republicans at the national level try to do over the next 2-4 years?
The RINO's will continue to sell out our country to the multi-national, mega-corporations, pushing for amnesty for millions of illegal invaders.
They need cheap labor.

What about the democrats?
Continue to push to make the US a welfare state and push for amnesty of millions of illegal invaders.
They need the votes.
America was a great country while she lasted.
