So if we finish 7-5...or wherever...are these our bowl options?

(1) Advocare Bowl in Shreveport? or
(2) Texas Bowl in Houston?

I can't believe we would go back to Houston after opening the season there. But...would we accept a bid to a game with the same sponsor as the season opener? And more importantly, if we win the Advocare Bowl, will Les break out the cowboy hat again?

But seriously...the bowl tie-ins are:
(1) Capital One -- I think that's out, barring a big time turnaround
(2) Outback Bowl -- Just went there last year, and see (1)
(3) Music City Bowl -- See (1)
(4) Gator Bowl -- typically an SEC East bowl. Oh, and see (1)
(5) Liberty Bowl -- maybe
(6) Texas Bowl -- doubtful, but there is a large LSU alum base in Houston
(7) Belk Bowl -- Dear Lord, please no
(8) Birmingham Bowl -- See (7)
(9) Advocare Bowl -- maybe
(10) Sugar Bowl -- I almost didn't even list it. Why bother?

I'd love it if we went to the Liberty Bowl and Les dressed like this, since it's near Graceland:

Is the Belk Bowl the same as the Chick Fil-A Bowl? If so, A trip to Atlanta is always fun......at least for me.

Remember how terribly we traveled to the Outback Bowl last year? That was after a 9-3 season. I shudder to think how poor bowl ticket sales would be after a 7-5 year. We'd sell more tickets to a Houston or Shreveport Bowl due to ease of travel.

What 3 teams are we beating? I'll take 6-6 and run right now.

State went 6-6 and went to the Liberty Bowl and Ole Miss went 7-5 and went to the Music City Bowl so id base it off that. Idk bout the Texas Bowl though, maybe.

I think LSU wins at least 4 conference games. 8-4 I would be happy with....UF is a most likely win. UK is a more likely win. Ole mis and Bama is a split and So is Arky and A & M.

This team has a ton of talent. they need a feel good win, this weekend will provide that.....

How can you HONESTLY say that though based on our play so far? Are you just saying we will have a random fluke of a good game against one of them?

Arky is going to destroy us. Our BEST chance at an SEC win IMO is against A&M. They are terrible at running the ball thank god.

Ole Miss is decent but is only avg. 3.7 YPC rushing... Wallae is decent ,but the LSU offense has to improve by then enough to beat them... A BYE week before can be huge for a team that will need it badly... If this team is not ready to play Bama as far as intensity ,then Miles needs to be replaced. They actually have a chance to win BOTH of those...

Arky wil still be recovering from what Bama will do to them this weekend... They Crush them like 52-10. That's how Saban teams respond to a loss... Think about it.

This game scares moe more than any other... @ A & M. Turkey night.. Not sure what it mean to both teams... Chavis has done a great job of shutting A & M down the last two years.......

However the season shakes out is fine with me as long as we are the ones to spoil Ole Miss' chances of going unbeaten.

Lets just get through the next 2 weeks and see. I'm thinking 6-6 at best. I could be wrong but I'm thinking if it happens, it happens this next 2 weeks. I don't see us having a chance the remainder of the season unless something huge happens

LSU will not be In Shreveport for a bowl. If LSU is bowl eligible, someone will pick them wayyyyyyyy before the independence bowl gets to pick.
