Has anyone not been deterred by the "bending" feature?

Sprint has an amazing program right now ($50/mo unlimited everything, and will buy you out of your current contract)

So my question is: Has Apple done/said anything about correcting this "feature"?

What is the coverage like for Sprint in the NOLA area?

TIA.

I ordered then new iPhone amidst bendgate. Im just hoping/assuming all will be ok when I get it, but I also plan on keeping it in a case so there's that.

As far as Sprint, I've never had it, but I've also never heard good things. I'd assume its comparable to tmobile as far as coverage goes, but for some reason Tmobile gets a free pass while Sprint gets ripped apart.

Do people really believe Bendgate to the extent that it is keeping you from buying the new iPhone? Wow. I thought people on TD were much more tech savvy and informed than that. Come on guys...Apple is projected to sell a 190 million iPhones this year and 9 or 10 phones bending does not even register on the graph. Who knows WTF those guys who bent their phones were doing when they got bent. I'm sure Apple replaced them for free.

Lol! It was a handful of phones. Or a clever way to make you not buy the IPhone 6.

I have been with sprint for a long time. I work in New Orleans and live on the westbank. I travel to Florida, and Tennessee often. I have never had a problem with coverage in any of these areas.

Every TMobile thread says the exact same thing that was said for Sprint. Fine in the big cities, terrible everywhere else.

That's something I'm fine with.. but I'm not interested in getting into a situation where they say, "Oh, you must have bent it by keeping it in your pocket too long" etc.

I live in Gentilly, work downtown, and frequent uptown and my coverage is horrible in pretty much all three places. Downtown I get decent coverage but even if it's LTE, it's very slow.

Sprint is damn universally hated. It's like Apple or Samsung on the Tech Board

I've got one on order. Through work, so there's not a whole lot of skin in the game for me personally. Maybe a slight inconvenience if it becomes an issue, but other than that I'm not concerned about it. I'll swap to the 6 if it's an issue.

I work in the warehouse district. I can watch Netflix on my phone without any problem. I am either uptown or downtown every other weekend and have no problems.

I'm with Sprint. Have been for 5 years. Service in Baton Rouge isn't the best, however it works for me everywhere I go and I travel weekly out of state.

Be careful with the "lease to own" option. You are going to pay full price for the phone vs. signing up for 2 year agreement and getting a discounted price.

I have the 6 +. It is a great phone. Not concerned at all about "bending." It would take a lot of force to get it to bend.

The battery life on this phone is nothing short of amazing.

I'm coming from an HTC One (M7) and the build quality of the new iPhone 6 + is solid. It doesn't give me any indication that it will not be a solid performer or experience any durability issues.

The screen is phenomenal - clearest I have seen. And the battery ... did I mention the battery life? Night and day difference from what I was accustomed to.

I have the 6+ and hasn't bent yet. Loving the microwave charging.
